My name is Danny Harrison. I am the Proprietor and Principal Trainer of topgear school of motoring School of Motoring, running the business alongside my wife Bev who works full time as Office Manager.
I have over 16 years experience as a qualified instructor and have built up the business over this time to become the largest independent driving school in South Cumbria. As well as the regular driving instructor qualifications I also hold a special driving instructor advanced certificate at Grade A. I am also a qualified fleet trainer/assessor and I hold the highest grade for check tests at Grade 6.
I am the only DSA officially registered driving instructor trainer (ORDIT) in South Cumbria and have a wealth of experience in training instructors with a very high pass rate.
For the past 10 years I have been the locally appointed examiner for Hackney Carriage driving tests, employed by Barrow Borough Council.
I also work for a number of national companies providing driver improvement training schemes, risk assessment and training days.
At present TopGear school of motoring School of Motoring have 9 instructors (both male and female) instructing under the TopGear school of motoring name. I have personally trained all bar one of these to my highest standard.
