One of our most recent instructors Richard (who likes to be called Mac) joined us in 2005.

Before deciding to become a Driving Instructor, Mac spent 8 years in the Navy as a submariner and more recently took redundancy from Glaxo where he had been for a number of years.

Mac is a keen sportsman and currently coaches Barrow Island open age football.

Mac has excellent interpersonal skills and has a calm, down to earth manner with his pupils.

Mac has three children and lives on Walney.
